Drawing Workshop
                                                                                                    with Sheila Ghidini

2This week long workshop is designed to develop skills in drawing and is suitable for all drawing levels.  Through specific drawing assignments, students will work in a variety of drawing media to heighten their perception of line, value, texture and space.
Observational drawing will be covered as well as working abstractly, using the beautiful location of Vittorio Veneto for inspiration.   Short morning excursions that explore its historic art, architecture, public places and surrounding countryside will be a part of the drawing experience.  Students are free to use these excursions as source material for their drawings, or to continue to explore their own imagery. High lights of the week will be delicious meals prepared at the Palazzo Galletti, a restored 14th century palace, where participants will be staying. The week promises to be a pleasurable experience of art, food and beauty, nestled in the foothills of the Alps!
