Inspired Journey to Veneto    

The Region:        The Veneto is located in the north-eastern Italy. It extends from Venice, its regional capital,  to the Dolomite mountains. The Veneto is a region is one of Italy’s custodians of natural, artistic, and traditional treasures.

Where You’ll Stay:    Vittorio Veneto is a city created in 1886 by the merging of two towns, Ceneda and Serravalle. Serravalle is a hidden, medieval gem, nestled in the foothills of the Dolomites, 40 minutes drive  from Venice and north of Treviso. 

Your Accommodation:         You will stay in the Palazzo Galletti B&B Boutique Hotel. This historic, 14th century Palazzo offers three beautifully restored, elegant and modern rooms with en-suite bathroom, fridge, air conditioning, heating, dining area and free Wi-Fi internet. You will be able to relax in the magnificent romantic garden, experience the finest and tastiest organic Italian cuisine and meet with other guests in our stylish and comfortable living room and library. There is a large studio where critiques can be held, or paintings finished in case of bad weather.

Activities:   Activities will include guided walking guided tours of Venice, Conegliano, Treviso, Bassano del Grappa, Asolo and Possagno, visiting the historic center and the local markets. Prosecco vineyards visits and wine tastings. 
The one-day tour of the Dolomites, Auronzo, Misurina lake and Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Itinerary
Friday April 21. Recommended departure from US for the Venice Airport with next morning arrival.
Day 1. Saturday April 22
  • Arrival.  Check-in at Palazzo Galletti B&B Boutique Hotel in Vittorio Veneto;
  • Walking guided tour of the historic centre of Serravalle (part 1);
  • Lunch at Palazzo Galletti;
  • Walking guided tour of the historic centre of Serravalle (part 2), including the visit of the exhibition “La luce di Guidi”.
  • Welcome Dinner at Palazzo Galletti.
 Day 2.  Sunday April 23
  • Chauffeur Guided tour along the Prosecco Road, including:
  • The Cistercians, abbey of Santa Maria in Follina which dates back to the 13th century;
  • Wine tasting & lunch at “Santantoni Prosecco” wineyard;
  • Short walking tour of the Prosecco hills;
  • Possagno - visit of the Museum of the sculptor Antonio Canova (Temple, Gipsoteca, and home);
  • Bassano del Grappa and its  covered wooden bridge;
  • Dinner at Palazzo Galletti.
Day 3. Monday April 24
  • Visit the local market, walking around, bike ride along the river, relaxing and cooking class;
  • Lunch at Palazzo Galletti;
  • Guided tour of the historic centre of Conegliano or Landscape Photo Tour, including the “Caglieron Grotto”, “Cansiglio forest”, Alpago, “Santa Croce” lake;
  • Relaxing evening & “Aperitivo”;
  • Dinner at Palazzo Galletti.
 Day 4. Tuesday April 25
  • Guided tour in Treviso, including:
  • The famous local market;
  • Lunch at the tipical historic restaurant in Treviso “Odeon la colonna”;
  • The visit of the San Nicolò Church and Tommaso da Modena frescoes;
  • Dinner at Palazzo Galletti.
 Day 5. Wednesday April 26
  • Guided tour of Venice;
  • Lunch on your own;
  • Dinner at Palazzo Galletti;
Day 6. Thursday April 27
  • Independent day in Venice or relaxing at Palazzo Galletti;
  • Lunch and dinner on your own.
 Day 7. Friday April 28
  • Chauffeur Guided tour of the Dolomites, including:
  • Auronzo di Cadore;
  • Misurina lake;
  • Cortina d’Ampezzo;
  • Pic-nic lunch;
  • Dinner at Palazzo Galletti.
Day 8. Saturday April 29
  • After breakfast at Palazzo Galletti and Check-out we drive you to the airport for your onward travel departure to your destination (complimentary Van Transfer).

  • 7 nights stay (in double occupancy bedroom/ private bath) at Palazzo Galletti B&B Boutique Hotel or in the nearby B&B on a first come, first choice basis or in the nearby hotel;
  • Breakfast daily, 4 lunches, 6 gourmet home made or restaurants dinners, including wines and daily wine tasting opportunities, coffee/tea and snacks;
  • A guided tour of Serravalle in Vittorio Veneto; 
  • One full-day trip & guided tour to the Dolomites stunning landscapes including Cortina d’Ampezzo, Misurina, and Auronzo;
  • One-day trip & guided tour of Conegliano & Treviso;
  • One-day trip & guided tour of Venice;
